It's Hot in Here

This was a perfect card for me..."Is it hot in here? Hell yes, it is hot in here." The standing joke with the girls is that I'm always hot and we ask if Terry turned up the air (one day we were at her house and she swore she turned the air on but it was only the fan). I guess that was funnier when we were there. Anyway. Melisa has been my conscious lately, telling me to use what I have and not buy more. I bought this set almosst a year ago at the Orlando stamp show. Thank you, Terry, for helping me get the papers and ribbon right...I struggle with that.

Box Office Hit

I can never get these pictures right...oh well, you get the gist of it. This is my February swap in honor of Valentine's Day. I found the saying on the computer "If your friendship was a movie, you would be a box office hit." I immediately thought of my Clark Gable stamp and the drive-in movie (which was stamped on the inside of the card). Getting solid black with these stamps was difficult. Finally figured out that needed glossy paper.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! OK, so it is February...at least it's up for Valentine's Day...OK, so it isn't...sue me! I love this card (thank you, Tori--I want to be just like you). I had to find a Martha Stewart punch and ended up buying the wrong one. I ordered one off e-bay because every Michaels was sold out. Punched out a zillion ferns (each card took about 60 ferns) and the punch broke before I was finished. Terry (thank you!) found me one at the Michaels at the airport and I was able to finish up my cards. I printed the banner off the computer and added rhinestones (can hardly see them).

Happy Fall Ya'll

My camera is sick and is with the Geek Squad as we speak getting repaired. I finally dug out my old camera but took about 30 pictures before I got anything decent to post. I love this card and it is so simple! The metallic paper and ink make the card! Thanks to Donna at a Small Cleverness for this idea.

In "Dog Talk"...

I made this card for my friend, Courtney, as a thank you card. Inside says "That is "dog talk" for thank you."

Brayer Technique

I absolutely love Tori's cards with the brayer background technique. I imagine there is a more official name than that but I don't know it. Anyway. Here is my attempt. It isn't too bad but I haven't been able to repeat it!

Halloween, Finally!

Here is another monkey! I love these pirates and have enjoyed all the ways to use these sets. I just extended Halloween...these cards finally went out in the middle of November!
